Yes! We remove all gluten and dairy and animal products throughout the detox.

We would love for everyone to be a part of Thrive, but we understand that it’s not for everyone. Since we are not doctors or nutritionists, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider. They will know what’s best for you, personally.

Pregnancy is not the ideal time to start a cleanse. Although our reset is nutrient rich and nutritionally balanced, it will also be detoxifying. Toxins released during the reset can pass through to your bloodstream and breast milk. Instead, focus on nourishing your body and your baby. Feel free to include green smoothies and other recipes as part of your normal daily diet. The same principles apply if you’re breastfeeding.

Anyone who is ready to start making healthy eating a part of their lifestyle and not just a diet. Taking the burden off the liver for a few a week and filling yourself with real, nutrient-rich goodness will take you from healthy to amazing! Our resident holistic nutritionist, Meg Thompson, recommends making cleansing a regular part of your health care regime several times a year to renew, recharge and reset the body. Your body will love you for it!

Our meals are nutrient-rich and therefore give back to the body and will balance your blood sugar, keeping your energy at a steady flow. Rather than focus on calories, It’s much more important to focus on having good quality protein, healthy fats and loads of vegetables and fruit to get all the goodness that you need.

Calories are deceiving and not the basis for determining what is healthy. For example, if something is low in calories, it’s not necessarily good for you. In fact, it’s often the opposite. Food that is low in calories, like a piece of white bread, is not only void of nutrients, it saps extra nutrients from your body to process it. It also turns to sugar once it’s digested which then contributes to weight gain. Change it to a whole grain bread and add some avocado or nut butter, and suddenly you have something much higher in calories, but a slow burning fuel that will continue to serve your body for hours.

    3 out of 5 I couldn't finish the 7 days.

    I tried this for three days but had to stop due to severe stomach pain. I usually eat a broad diet of grains, meat, veggies and fruit. I think my body couldn’t handle all the raw veggies and fruit. Some recipes were better than others. I will say I wasn’t hungry. The plan has a nice balance of snacks and meals. I did some research and your body can have trouble digesting raw veggies if you aren’t balancing it with fats like yogurt that has probiotics. Cooked veggies are also easier to digest than raw. I do plan on trying this again but slowly over a couple of weeks so I don’t shock my body like I did before. My other criticism is this is a lot of work. If you don’t like to cook and prep you won’t like doing this plan. My husband cooks all his own meals. He is a weight lifter and he puts in quite a bit of time to make his meals. He was shocked at how much time it was taking to prep the food.

    I have seen the wonderful result within the first three days.I slept very good.My tummy problems disappeared.Had more energy to do daily chores.Dropped few pounds.Now don’t think I didn’t have any cravings.First day was tough but I stuck with it I fell apart on my fourth day but got back on track the nest day and my husband tried couple of smoothies with me.I am planning on doing the 21-day cleanse. Simplegreensmoothies cleanse is going to be a Christmas gift for my family members.Thank you making it so easy to follow.

    This program was awesome! My husband and I did it together. We were convinced that a whole food/plant based diet is what we needed but did not really know where to begin. This plan was easy to follow and we never really felt deprived. We never really had any cravings. We did feel a little tired at about mid point but other than that we have felt wonderful! Have even lost a few pounds.
    This has given us the confidence that we can be successful in changing our way of eating to become healthy!

    Really a great program — and easy to follow, with shopping lists and menus provided!
    Being from a part of the country where we fry everything from steak to green tomatoes, I was looking for a way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables in my diet and feel more light and energized. Mission accomplished!!
    Happy to report that I continue to begin the day with a turmeric tonic and Simple Green Smoothie!!

    I really enjoyed this reset. My husband and I did it together, which was super helpful for both of us. We already eat a plant-based, vegan diet, and so we didn’t experience any crazy detox symptoms. However, we both gained energy, got rid of our sugar cravings, and lost a few pounds. Yay!

    My only complaint, and it’s not a huge complaint, is that you drink the same smoothie for both breakfast and lunch. I’d prefer more variety for my tastebuds, and when you make it ahead, and drink it later, the texture just isn’t the same as when you make it fresh. I understand that if you work from home, or stay home with kiddos, you’d be able to make it fresh, but if you don’t, it makes that nearly impossible.

    I definitely found a few great recipes from this reset that I’ll continue to make again, and again. I’d highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get back on track, or jumpstart their way into a plant-based diet!
