5 out of 5 Great Blender, Awesome Customer Service

I have had my blendtec for 6 years. Yes. 6 years. I make smoothies in it, puree soups in it, make the most incredible smooth hummus in it. I grind whole grain rice in it to make a powder to make congee with it. I make all kinds of batters in it. I puree foods in it for various purees. I make all kinds of sauces and salad dressings in it. I even use my small container to blend up black peppercorns in bulk which store well and stay fresh for weeks (even months). I throw the jars in the dishwasher (yeah I know I probably shouldn’t)… and all around I abuse the heck out of my blender. Or at least it feels like I do. About a year ago I started noticing a weird noise. Then I started seeing a weird brown powder on the base unit after blending. I became concerned that my abuse had taken its toll. I called customer service over holidays. Only was on hold a couple of minutes. The tech had me turn the unit on with my two blend jars and without to compare sounds. It turns out my blender jar seals had gone bad and the jar spindles were worn. It was in warranty and with no more questions asked they sent me out new blend jars which arrived within about 10 days. It was a painless process. They stand behind their product and I believe it was a more than great purchase. I bought mine when Costo ran a special – a large sidewinder jar and a smaller liquids jar for $299 it seems like. I have to tell you. This thing is worth its money in gold. It is a major work horse and the sky is almost the limit with it. You can do so much. If asked if I would buy another I would say a resounding yes!

5 out of 5 My Best Blender

I love my Blendtec! I had burned out all my other blenders – and there were many. I saw a demo at Costco (with a nice, reduced price) and bought it. I’ve made everything in this blender – soup, baby food, green smoothies, nut butters, hummus, soy, almond, and coconut milks, and even green tea lattes. I love that the blade is not sharp and that it has a powerful motor. The seal on my jar wore out (in what I feel was) too soon. Customer service immediately replaced it free of charge and apologized. It is a work horse and produces a great end product.
