I can't count the number of battles I've had with my skin over the years. From acne, to dry skin to oily skin to sunburns… I can go every which way. I've learned a few constants over the years to keep my luscious skin between the ups and downs: hydration, fiber and healthy fats. Yep— those three things are the magic ingredients to beautiful luscious skin.
Wanna know why? Your skin is the largest organ on your body. And like your other organs, it's affected by what you feed it and how other organs are functioning around it. I'm gonna be blunt here: if you're having plumbing problems, there's a good chance it'll show on your skin. If foods are moving through you and leaving the body at a healthy pace, then the toxins will make it out via bowel movements. Yet if you're clogged up, the toxins will find another way out… and the skin is the next avenue (and it isn't pretty).
The Beauty Smoothie

By gulping natural skin boosting ingredients and applying external moisturizer, your skin should be glowing in no time. This beauty smoothie will become your go-to skin booster.
- 2 cups spinach, (fresh)
- 2 cups coconut water, (unsweetened)
- 2 cups pineapple, (frozen)
- 1 avocado
- Blend spinach and coconut water until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
*Use frozen pineapple to make smoothie cold.
